nokia 7110 acts wierd after flash

I am trying to update my 7110 from 4.88 to 5.01 but after flashing and updating the FAID it still does not work properly. I can enter my pin ok, but after that it takes a long time to start up and will not respond to input, and does not display a signal. It works fine when I restore the original 4.88 backup I made.

If anyone has a full v5.01 flash I could try, and any hints on how to make it work I would appreciate it.

I had some similar problems with my 7110, then it was caused by a corupted flash file. I have one that you can try, a newer one allso (V.6.01).

I don't know if it's ok to post flash files in the forum (copyrighted?), but I can mail it or sent it on ICQ to you if i get your mail address.

Just read any FLS you want use knock.

use eeprom tools , this is the soloution.

I can't seem to get EEPROM tools to work, it says 'Can't read the ppm version', I can use rolis noktool but it doesn't seem to help.

I would definetly like to try another flash file but I haven't found any yet.

Well i am trying to upgrade to 5.01 so another copy of that would be helpful to see if it is my copy that is bad or something else is wrong.
