i need info. about 6610

normally when u recive a call the background light comes on .. right
well , my 6610 will not do that always .. only some times
can the experts tell me why??

this is caused by a bug in the phone's software. In v4.18, the phone doesn't light up when u receive a call from a caller group member which you have assigned a different tone to the group.

you can fix this by upgrading your phone's firmware. this can be done at a nokia service centre.

u mean i re-install the new software 4.18 agine and it will help.

what i mean is you have to upgrade the firmware to a higher version. i dont know whats the latest version, but the next version, v4.24, solved this 'phone not lighting up' problem.

for the mean time, you can get around this problem by pressing any of the arrow keys when u receive a call. this will light up the phone without answering the call straight away.
