6310 unlocking Probs

Hey Y'all

I got a 6310i, that a mate has asked me to unlock,which is simlocked. I tried to unlock it with DCT4 Unlocker by JIC & the other one, with no joy.

I keep geting the message on the phone "Phone restricted, enter code".

I am using the F/Mbus cable, for my 6210, it seems to fit ok, but i notice that Nokia Tool won't read the phone.

So what software do i need & is my 6210 cable ok to use?

P.S. I would rather not flash it with Dejan, as i had a few phones go dead on me. Would rather stick to eeprom tools, or if i have to flash, i can use Rolis.

If there is a new version of software (type*#0000#) e.g. v5.10 or higher U need to flash it downgrade , then unlock it , and next upgrade flash, another words it's little problem with it; DON"T USE DEJAN!!! IT CAN KILL YOUR PHONE!!! I recomend remote unlocking by dongle calculator. Regards Dydol

Stop worrying people these software will not harm your phone if it not supported. JIC-unlocker simple says write SIMLOCKS failed. Then all you do is unlock it by IMEI.

Hey Y'all

I just downloaded a DCT4 code generator for 6310i, all you need to do is to input the imei number. Although it comes with deskey drivers, it needs a dongle.

Can anyone help please.
