Nokia FBUS cable on a 7250. Please help! - Nokia Flash Reverse Electronic Engineering

I'm new to this forum and I'm so happy I found a place where my answers will be answered

So, I recently bought from what I believe a FBUS cable for my 7250. I'd like to be able to upload/download software between my phone and pc. What software can I use?

If this question has been asked before please at least link me to a previous post or give me key words (software names, etc...). I'm only asking this because I can't find the software anywhere PLEASE help. Thanks a lot!

u dont even have to use a cable.. I use IR and Nokia PC 5.1 on my laptop with Win2K.. go to that site .. stated on your manual for your 7250.. it does on mine.. and download PC suite 5.1.. install and u can upload Pics Polyphonics Java ....

thanks a lot! so what advantages are there to the cable though? (not the usb one, serial , using the com1 port) Where can i get games not from wap for the 7250 because i noticed that the 7210 uses different format than the 7250. (if im not mistaken).

None so far.. IR and cable are the same.. I am just wondering where u got your cable because I have searched and found NONE at all. Is this the cable for the 7210 that you are using? which site did u buy your cable from? Only a flassher cable would be usefull.. that is if u want to upgrade firmware or change language.. but there is none at the moment..

Well the cable that i have is one that i have to take the battery out and the cable connects internally. I could also get the usb cable. The 7210 and the 7250 cable are the same.

well im in switzerland and i got it off an auction not knowing anything about the prices and got ripped off. now id like to sell my cableif youre interested ill sell it for 30 euros. email me if youre interested chiziller@hotmail.com

you have to download PC suite 5.1 I already told you where..

As far as I think, the cable you have purchased is not compatible with Nokia PC Suite. You can try Mobile Media Browser version 1.2.1 instead. You can buy it from http://www.logomanager.co.uk/

thanks again.... pcsuite isnt compatible with the cable so you were right. i think im just going to find a way to resell the cable and buy an infrared cable which will be compatible with everything...
