5210 unlock problem.

Hi!
I found this 5210 phone on my way to school and i cant get it unlocked. When i tried to unlock with the datacable it said that the program "cannot enter service mode" or some sort, and when i tried abit more the phones screen just blacked and now nothing works. I bought a flasher cable and i mangage to flash files but the screen is still black.
If anyone have had the same problems or know what to do please reply thanks!

You are using the wrong cable to unlock, should have used com-port cable, not flasher cable, try flashing new software in to phone and then unlock with com-port cable.

The datacable dosent work either it gets the same "SW CHK failed" or "cannot get in service mode" the cable is ok i manage to connect with Rolis but knok 22 and newknok just gives the error "Cannot prepare phone"
The phones checksum is not right but when i flash a new fls or wintesla files should not that image fix that problem? i have tried alot of 5210 flash files.
I never got it unlocked with the datacable couse of the error but that should not prevent it from booting a new flashed file? The locks gets removed when you install a new image to the phone right?

Ehm not quite, for unlocking you should use Jordik or eeprom tools (thats what I use and have no problems with them), the SP data (or lock data) is stored in the eeprom, so as you are only flashing just the MCU and PPM you will not change the SP data.
Now roils has a problem with flashing the 5210, not sure what but it has a problem (read old posts for more info) as for Knok that should flash OK, but again like most things you have to keep trying, also make sure that the battery is OK and has at least 3/4 power.
