cannot upload or nothin wiv this stupid cable (7210)

i got the data cable that clips in behind where the battery sits and ive tried the nokia software ,mobimb and i cant seem to find any software that works wiv this cable can u help me please.

Are you putting the battery in as well? Are you turning the phone on?

You wont be able to use the nokia suite as its not compatible with your type of cable (i forget the type u need DKU-5 or summit).

Are you com ports ok? is the cable in the com port ok?

try nokia pc suite 5.0, or mobiMB browser 1.21, use with IR

yeah it is DKU-5 (or IR) with Nokia Data Suite

im putting the battery in aswell i turn the phone on and the screen goes faint but ive tried mobimb v1.2.9 and the nokia sweet but it wont detect any phone .

ok i got the phone to communicate wiv mobimb but when i copy the picture or game or ringtone it gets about halfway on the progress bar and says operation cancelled. any ideas??

hello been reading your problems and i hav to say i get the exact same problems with mine. i cannot uploads or download anything to my phone as it stops half way through and acts like i disconnected my pone. i hav cheked and my connection is fine.

i also hav been having problems when trying o use logomanager, i hav the latst version and it does recognise my phone is attached but if i try to upload a logo it says logo sent but there is still no change to the logo and it still says that there ae no logo's.

Mbus data cables transfers data not bigger than 900 bytes/sec
while Fbus is capable of up to 30kb/sec. Nokia data suite does not support Mbus, you must use Fbus cables or Mbus/Fbus Auto Switch cables...
If your using an IR (Infrared) I suggest you use MA-620 USB Infrared adapter (it runs fine on my PC)
