Permanent Unlocking?

Hi there,

I've downloaded the software and read a few threads here. I have the e715 and some one mentioned that the #9998*3323# code instructions in here can only temporarily unlock phones to other network sims, and then can be personalized (locked again?) to the new sim using *0141#.

Is this the correct interpretation? Or does performing all these steps unlock the phone to all SIM for any time all time access without using any codes in the future?

(T-Mobile has already forwarded my request for an unlock code to SAMSUNG. I am just trying to see if this method would do the same exact thing they are offering, so I don't have to wait!)
