D600 flash - help please?

I sent my D600 to sum1 to ne flashed to get rid of (Orange-UK) network software.
It came back with some software on it called WOW (Wireless Olympic Works) - something to do with Torino 2006 winter olympics.
Does any1 have this sw on their D600? and if so, how do i turn it off?
When i select 'service off', it tries to connect to something via gprs, but then says "network error" and the software stays on.
Alternatively, can any1 help me flash it with a different sw?
I have a D500 serial cable (not usb) with 9V battery attachment.
I also have the flash file i believe i need (D600EXBEK4) - is this the right one to make D600 unbranded (samsung only) software?
What else do i need?
Please help!

TIA

MK5.

Here you can download various firmwares for Samsung SGH-D600.

You also need a flashing serial cable.

The instructions are below:

The process takes around 90 min. Save the correct D600 flash file to your hard drive. Make sure your D600 battery is fully charged. Connect a 9v battery to the serial cable, it must be a brand new battery as this process takes approx 90 min, and if the battery fails you will kill your phone. Power off the phone with no sim inserted and connect the phone to the serial cable and the serial cable to your PC. When flashing D600 make sure you select 1gone at the top.
Select correct com port. Com speed should be 115200.
Select the BIN + TFS radio button.

D600 users press the BIN button and open the "D600XAEJ4.cla" file (it can be different depending on the flash version).
Orange or D600E users press the BIN button and open the "D600EXBEK4.cla" file.

D600 users press the TFS button and open the "D600XAEJ4.tfs" file.
Orange or D600E users press the TFS button and open the "D600EXBEK4.tfs" file.

Click Start.
Tap the power button on the phone when prompted. The phone should not turn on, but software will recognise the ignition. Phone will connect, and the "Download" button will now be highlighted.
Click the download button and the flash will begin.
Once flash has finnished, press stop.
When the phone is successfully flashed take out and replace the battery and then power on.

After the debrand process some models when powered up do not display correctly, ie white screen, no graphics, only text.
Solution: insert a sim card and power the phone up.
Press the menu key.
Move to bottom right (settings) and select it.
Select reset settings.
Select all and then reset.
Pasword is 00000000 (eight zero's).

Notice for users who killed their phones for not making sure their battery was fully charged:
If you do kill your phone, it is not the end of the world. You cannot charge your battery like you normally would when the phone is dead, it simply will not charge.
The solution is to borrow a D600 battery from a friend (make sure it's fully charged first) and use that battery and repeat the flashing process.
Once the debrand process has finished, this will bring the phone back to life all nice and de-branded.
