IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW DONT DOWNLOAD AND DONT UPGRADE IT.

is there any diffr between the upgraded sl45 and the original sl45i? and what is map and java activator??

FIRAS USE A NORMAL CABLE IT WORKS AND THERE S NO DIFF YOU UPGRADED THE SL45 TO AN SL45I SO WHERE CAN YOU SEE DIFF
BEFORE ITS DIFF AFTER YOU APGRADE ITS THE SAME !!!

AND FOR THE MAP YOU CAN USE IT IF YOUR PHONE IS LOCKED .
BECAUSE IF YOU UPGRDED A PHONE WHICH WAS UNLOCKED BEFORE IT WILL RESTORE THE OLD NET CODE CAUSE THERE ARE FREE UNLOCKERS FOR VER 5 TILL 16 .IF YOUR PHONE IS VER 21 TILL 49 NO PROBLEM UPGRADE .
AND IF ITS LOCKED READ A MAP AND GET HELP FROM ME OR HERE http://nokiafree.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2696&perpage=40&pagenumber=10

Java runs under FW54 self upgrade for sl45 (and SL42) if u follow these instructions:

1. Flash your phone to FW54
2. Run setup.exe and install to a directory, remember this
3. Put all the files (from the zip file) in the folder you installed setup.exe to
4. Run Initservice.exe (opens slowly approx.. 8 seconds)
5. In the program window select the folder "maps54"
6. Check the box "Write all"
7. Select Com 1 and enter 5001 in the block box (see example.jpg)
8. Turn off your phone
9. Click on "WriteEEFull" and insert your phone to the cradle and quickly tap the power on button (just like upgrading the phone fw). "Service mode" will show up on the phone's screen (if it doesn't then just try again).
10. Repeat the process each time increasing the block value by one MANUALLY (do not use the up arrow). Continue until you reach block 5035. Look in the maps54 folder, not every block is there beacuse not every block need to be changed. Block 5017 for example should not surprise you when the message appears "file not found."

use the map if the phone is locked after upgrading
