Hi friends.

i got problem using mbus cable on 8850. i think something is wroung on pcb but havent find the problem.

can you help me please for changing imei and updating faid with fbus (flash cable).

what soft or trick.

I think that fbus is not the same as flash cable. :rolleyes:
As far as i know, it's not possible to change imei or update faid with fbus or flash cable, you'll have to get your mbus working :(

yep, flash cable is different buddy. Go buy yourself one. fbus/mbus cables are used more for unlocking or operator logos and stuff. Flasher cables are capable of doing more stuff like changing IMEI, updating FAID and upgrading phone software... etc.

Flasher cables are used to upgrade/downgrade phone but not to update FAID or change IMEI. I allways change IMEI or update FAID with mbus cable. :rolleyes:

i know what is fbus cable or mbus cable.

please read my first topic.

i have problem with reading info from phone with mbus cable because of phones pcb board.

i have to many working mbus cable but my phone not responding over mbus connection.

this problem is not because of cable its phones pcb maybe ccont problem.

now i want to know again if its posible to changing imei and updating faid by flash cable.

or what can the pcb problem for not working the mbus point.

aLeN27, what software did you try using? I tried using nokia tool by rolis 1.8 and i was able to update faid and change IMEI.

i have a mbus cable, it can read phone info, but i cannot update FAID!!! why is that, it says that it has updated faid o.k. but i still get not signal!!! (using rolis 1.8)... im dying to update faid...
i have a flash cable, is there any way of updating faid with a flash cable? nothing i have used has worked.... is there a schematic for a working FAID updating MBUS cable???? (besides M2BUS cable)?
