View Full Version : 3310 4.02 to 4.45 ok, to 5.03 and 5.11 it have no signal ! :(

Hi guys,

does it mean, that 3310 v5.** have different FAID calculation algoritm???
I have tried to update phone to 5.** with Dejan Box and with rolis 4.77 and faid calculator by -tek- but is still no network coverange.

My 3310 works with 5.13 fine. I used koci logger when there was this promotion with free calculating. And only bad thing is that I lost my graphic messages.

Hi there!

I think you need to unlock the phone with the new solution (partial unlock flash, close lock 1 to 'FFFFF' and partil lock) and you have a unlocked phone with coverage network.

Is it locked or unlocked?

Hi there!

I said that the new solution might work, but i'm wrong, i tried to upgrade a 3330 v4.16 to 4.50, the FAID calculation fails in new versions.

Probably by the same reason that normal unlock in new versions ends with no network.

Maybe the algo uses some info from the partial flash or so...

By now, only upgrading to last normal unlocking version is working for me:
