Dear friends,

I have been having problem detecting my phone with the m&f bus cable.

I am using Nokia 8250 and have set the cable to Mbus.

When I tried to run "XPmobile" I received messages saying:

1. Cannot initialized device
2. Priviledged instruction.

Please advice,

Deji

Do you have a flasher cable? Try use this cable. Don't use mbus cable.

Dear friend,

I only have the cable for F or M bus switching. Is there a different cable for FLashing phone??

Sorry for asking such stupid question but please tell me more about hose cable/s needed in order to flash the phone.

Best regards,

Deji

Yes, the flash cable is totally different from MBus or FBus cable. It is connected through printer port instead of comm port... You need this cable to flash... Search "Dejan Flasher" in the net or this forum if you wanted to build your own cable... It is pretty simple...
