Hi,I have a problem after I read the topics about this subject.

I designed all bars horizontally and put them to the cell info or profile name's area.

I also checked the "tables"to be displayed these correctly and to be updated regularly.

the problem is,cell info is disabled in the phone,it's OK
but when I change profile,it isn't displayed,although there's some place for it to be displayed.I expected this : (in this area below the oplogo)

| | | | N Profile name B | | | |

can any experts help about this?it looked very nice after changing tables!

Also I have an idea : how about transferring net & battery bars to the end of the mcu and changing the offsets for wider battery bars especially? (An Ericsson style network&battery bars)
It'll be cool in the next g3n0lite versions like changing offsets of slideshow

Thank you.

Maybe u can try to use PPMedit to change the battery n network bars.I've changed it to horizontal(just like the Ericsson style)but got a small problems.Sometimes the battery and network icon doesn't appear but once u press the "C" button then everthing's fine.Try it....Good luck
;)

Sample:

Keys 12:00

For example : (in 3315 flash v5.79) hex 11a14c
FF0000543000000000000000560607481C00000000000000FF0607481E00000000000000560007541C00000000000000FF0007541E00000000000000FF0007541400000000000000FF001B540A00000000000000560607091C00000000000000FF0607091E00000000000000560000542300000000000000FF0000542500000000000000560007541C00000000000000FF0007541E00000000000000FF0007540D00000000000000FF0014540F00000000000000FF0014270F

FF 00 00 54 30 is an example,u can ignore 00's
first 00 is x position start coord.
second 00 is y position start coord.
54=dec84 first x addition
30=dec48 first y addition

As you know,the first table is the whole nokia screen(84x48)
the others are like that..I drew them in a paper to see :)

you can change dimensions of tables,start x,y coordinate etc.

Found answer to my question above! It's to do with the refresh rate of the screen. If the screen is in "keypad locked" mode then it's not refreshing the screen as often! I have a 3315 that does that! TEST: Hold the C key and see!;)

I have already read your comments , thank you , but..

I started this by reading NokDoc's thread about this : tables & refresh addresses.
For example , if you want to put them to the cell info area,you have 2 choices :
1 . finding only the exact table and changing coordinates&area , so the other tables won't override this area and the thing will be displayed correctly.(I didn't succeed finding the exact table)
2 . changing all the table coords & areas , it means : all tables won't touch your place of netbars etc. The result is very funny :
In every screen (menu,startup,screensaver,animation) the bars are always displayed!!!

I have a 5210.You're right,it's easy on 3310 because at the bottom,there's only "Menu" text,and you can place the thing there

But I think it should be at the center below the oplogo,without disturbing cell info or profile text

Last thing: the tables are exactly the same in all nokia models,only the offsets are different

Thank you

I mention it again: this property must be included in the next
g3n0lite version (this tables & putting the bar bitmaps in a different location eg. at the end of MCU,so they can be
horizontal and bigger than 6 pixels horizontally)
