Ringtone IDs in Hexworkshop

How can i change ringtone IDs in a flash using hexworkshop?

Really don't know how to use hexworkshop.

Pls. help step by step if possible..

There is a thread for this forum already m8. But anyway..
Here's wat i know about the procdure..

1. Try to open the .re File in hexworkshop. U want to edit..

2. Data will be displayed like this..

0000 0060 0000 014C 4748 4F53 0000 0000
0E47 686F 7374 6275 7374 6572 7320 0000

The tone id is located at the 1strow & 2nd Column.
for this file tone id= 0060..

U canonly edit the tone id in hexworkshop if it is an *.re file. Because re file contains hex numbers..

use this sites search facility for "ringtone index" & use the links there to get good software to do the job for you without any hassle, if you want to learn hex edit compare before & after files for differences.

i've been searching for ringtone topics on this forum but still haven't found one teaching on how to change ringtone id (step by step) using hexworkshop.

it would be easier if you use tempe's software from:

you don't have to use Hex Workshop to change the tone's IDs.
