It has been brought to our attention that you all in this Forum don't like to pay money for our games and prefer to get them for FREE. We understand your point and, because of this, we at Gameloft have decided to stop selling our games and release them as freeware to the public using this Forum to ditribute them.

Gameloft's first game to be offered here is entitled "Siberian Strike (Episode 1)". Have fun!

all of this is a bunch off bullshite! the dude made it up, if u read http://www.gameloft.com/tech_support.php?question=75 , it says "how do i BUY a game?" the word BUY doesnt mean freeware

wouldnt the message end with a regards and wouldnt it have correct spelling? this month gameloft emailed my website and wanted to shut me down (and a couple other nokia warez sites) for posessing illegal copies of their games like asphalt, prince of persia and also Siberian Strike. so i know what kind of emails they send and other shit.

i got an email from gameloft just 2 days ago

From : Gameloft Content Protection Team <[email protected]>
Subject : WARNING - FORMAL LEGAL REQUEST


Dear Sir, or Madam,



Our Content Protection Team has reported that you are hosting a web site: <removed> which offers copies of Gameloft's games for mobile phones.


it then went on to list a whole ton of games belonging to them

The making of unauthorized copies is a violation of Gameloft rights under French laws and International Treaties.



You have participated in the violation of law, or, at best, you have been negligent in preventing others from offering unauthorized copies of Gameloft's games on the internet. You are potentially liable for damages that Gameloft may suffer as a result of this violation of law. Damages could be significant, given the wide distribution of pirate copies over the Internet.



Gameloft is disappointed that it cannot rely on you to respect its rights, and will be considering whether further legal action is appropriate in this case.



We hereby formally request that you immediately remove or ask to remove Gameloft's games from the web sites: <removeD> and confirm the same by email.



This letter constitutes notice to you that your actions are illegal and may subject you to criminal prosecution and civil liability. We will be monitoring your web site to see if you are in compliance with the law and reserve the right to take all steps necessary to protect Gameloft's rights.

this is a very very old thread.

and its this particular one which we got a letter from gameloft too, and hence the rules like no uploading of warez, are implemented on this forum.

and it obvious y warez is not allowed everywhere.
