I know there is frame table in MCU with frames sequence for animations and after these table is each animation frame counter (x2) , but how can i add (insert) more frames to menu animated icons ? Where is the adresses or pointers to these frame sequences ? Whats mean 46 C0 ? And why the others 36 tables (in 3310-5.57) is fake ???

Hi,

>> I know there is frame table in MCU with frames sequence for animations and after these table is each animation frame counter (x2)

Basically there is 3 tables, the address table, the sequence table and the length table.
But I guess U know by now.

>> but how can i add (insert) more frames to menu animated icons ?

U can add to the table by replacing the whole sequence table to the area between the mcu and ppm wher U have enough free space.

The address of the first record is called from somewhere in the mcu.
Replace that pointer to the new data start location too.

>> Where is the adresses or pointers to these frame sequences ?

The G3n0Lite tool by Mr. Joox gives U the values for many versions.

>> Whats mean 46 C0 ?

That means nop, nothing.
Those bytes are there to fill up the data to module 4 lengths.
Most data is always stored in length blocks that can be dived by 4.

>> And why the others 36 tables (in 3310-5.57) is fake ???

I wanna know that too.
I however notice tiny differences once!

Maybe this question is on it's place here:
Whatever could be done with a command like *# or mbus to swap to another startup logo sequence like Iternis?

Hi NokDoc,

I know it must be possible to get the animations to run for a longer time but havn't managed it yet, do you have any suggestions as to how I can achieve this.

Best regards.

Hi,

After opening a file:

# Welcome to g3n0lite from g3gg0 converted by Joox

# Opening the Flashimage for PPM read

# GraphicRootOffset: 0xFAB58
# AnimationAdressTableOffset: 0xED8AC
# AnimationBitmapTableOffset: 0x1261A0
# AnimationLengthTableOffset: 0x1264B8

# Found PPM: V 05.57 05-07-02 NHM-5 (c) NMP.
# Found TEXT chunk @ offset: 0x141F04

ok?

Hi NokDoc,

When I open a file I get ;

# Welcome to g3n0lite from g3gg0 converted by Joox

# Opening the Flashimage for PPM read
# Found PPM: V 05.59 12-09-02 NHM-5 (c) NMP.
# Checking g3n0lite.ini for Rootoffset
# Found TEXT chunk @ offset: 0x1427F0
# Loading the PPM File this may take a while ....
# Loading of PPM was successful. :)
# Closing the Flashimage

? what am I doing wrong?

Regards.

Oki. I missunderstood. I was looking for where the pointers to these addresses are, so that I can move the tables :)

Hi,

Mr. CatWeasel, maybe this (http://www.tech-productions.de/nokia/g3n0lite.zip) helps.

I must admit I have the same problem that catweasel has. (even with the version you posted whitch turned out to be the same as the one I have)
I've tried with about 15-20 different flash files for 5-6 different phones.

Hi NokDoc,

Thank you for your reply but this is the version I am using and as with cyclo the text from my previous post is all I seem to get.

Any helpful ideas / suggestions are welcome.

Hello fellows!

Here in Finland i haven't yet seen snow much, only seen it falling down and melting right away.

But i'm 100% sure winter will come :D

It's soon time to prepare for christmas, so all the best christmas ringtones in .bin/.re format would be nice, along with very christmas/winter feeling mod for 3310 :)
