HELP!!!

I try to unlock Siemens S40 for Cingular with a software that I downloaded online, it not just doesn't work, it doesn't show anything when it is on... what can i do??
also, is there any other unlock software for Siemens S40???

Read the Log from your S40 and attach the file here. Someone will calculate it for you.... Later you have to rewrite the Map File (calculated log file) into your phone with the LOG READER

Be sure your software version is 5.00 or lower if you use that software for unlocking.

2 Things...

1. MUST have a sim in the phone

2. ITs the down key on the SIDE of the phone NOT MIDDLE

If you need help than follow the introductions..... There isnt any other software for it.... Read you log and send it here until you will not unlock your phone.

Can I lower it to like 4.0 or something and unlock it??

Your kind of just wasting your time, if your still a Cingular customer just call them and get the subsidy code. Or like 'fatihorhan' stated just post your log..

The eeprom data areas are managed totally different between the newer versions such as 9.0 and older thats why that unlocker does NOT work on newer flash..

You DEFINITELY do NOT want to use anything below 9.00 because the phone was plagued with TONS and TONS of software issues which 9.00 didnt even really fix all of.
