What am i doing wrong??????

Hi guys,

Could some one please let me know what software and version they are using to change IMEI's update faid etc on Nokia phones.

I have tried all sorts of software with different cables This box thingy (http://www.activemobiles.com/UNIVERSAL_UNLOCKER.htm) and an auto switching f/m bus cable with 8-15 volt power adaptor to take ps2 heads.

I can get the box thingy to work with my SL45 and Eric T28 but can not get any Nokia software to work!! i have given up trying to use the CD's i got with box, as most the software on them does not seem work.

I think it must be the software i am that i am downloading from the net.

I can get rollis 4.77 to work using lpt cable, but when i try windls after picking phone model and read phone it says:-

Power on phone (which i do)

error!!! bad responce from phone!!!

i have tried a Nokia 5110, 3310, 7110, 3330. they cant all be bad!

If some one can give me some tips what to check i would be most greatful to them, as i have just about had enough of trying.

to unlock nokia dct3 all u need is rolis 1.7,1.8 you will be able to unlock all 3210,3310.3330,6210,7110,8210,and 3410 use eeprom tools3.1 to unlock 5210 and use jic to unlock 8310 upto version 5.57 all the software is free to download on net try www.gsm-technology.com good luck
