Eeprom not found

Hi!

Trying to edit a text using ppmmanager (changing the "menu" w/ my name), updated CRCs but when i check the file with Rolis, it says STRING EEPROM NOT FOUND.

Tried it b4 that this situation will cause Contact Service.

Pls. help me how to solve my prob. The Flash File i'm editing is already a modified one. I just don't like the "menu" on it.

Where can i change dat "MENU" text in PPMEdit?

I'm talking 'bout dat "menu" written in front when u see the signal and batt bars, dat one in Navi Key.

the whole bloody point when editing text in ppm manager is only to use mcu+ppm so no eprom is good, its fine

If it is a fullflash, Is there a way to remove the eeprom part in full flash file??
If yes, how?

Yah, that's what i want to know too Slikmilk.

Everytime i read a flash, it will be a FULL Flash, i don't know how to read it separately and i don't know how to remove the eeprom too in a full flash. Just what bench said.

well reading a full flash is usually 200-400 or 200-600 dependin on fone guys

so get a start address table on many sites and in newbies section! find the ppm end address/eeprom start address usually on a 3310 360 or sumit then simply read this

so 3310 read 200,000-360,000

and wahey mcu+ppm without eeprom dude! yay :)

or maybe some proggies let u rip out eeprom

quite easy in hex editor i presume as its simply a string saying EEPROM at the start of it

load full flash in rolis.
special menu has option copy binary to ppm or something, select it.
then, do it vice versa, copy ppm to binary.
then save flash, it will have only mcu & ppm.
