read mess press yes -->erase message appears
-->Press no -->Save appears --> Press yes
Saved to phonememory

ok...i am going to ask my friend to get the phone back off the person he gave it to, so i can upload the flash... if he can get it, then i will upload it here, its just a matter of waiting for him to get it (hes a bit slow when he does these things), you will definately have to wait until after the first week of january (because he'll be too busy to get it). if he can't get it back, then i'll try and ask at the shop, hopefully they'll tell me if i need to....until then, anyone had any luck or know anything about this?

I am sorry for my first reply. No excuse about it because it's unexcusable.

As for the matter at hand, there's is no upgrade or any tweak possible to use some free space in the firmware area of 5210 unless one knows how to reprogram the ARM like what geggo is doing.

How do you klnow it is saved in the phone's memory? Was a text message remain even whe you change SIM?

erm, my mate said that he asked the guy if it was possible, and the guy said it was, and did it, my mate might be mistaken, but we won't know until he gets the phone to me

Hi again I thought sms and such things(Personal stuff) could be stored in Eeprom or to be exact PMM.
