Nokia 8860 on cingular

I just acquired a nokia 8860. It was previously on AT&T, and cingular says that it will not program properly on their network. It seems likes BS to me. Does anyone know what I can do to put it on Cingular's network?

They are correct. It isn't backwards compatible. Cingular phones work only on Cingular, AT&T only works on AT&T. Try eBay for the right phone.
