wow, gratulations for utilising whois service!
I don't like my exact dates to be sent text/plain anyways, guys.

you know, knowledge is power and besides things like copyright (which I don't
(or didn't) respect in terms of knowledge because it means that knowledge
couldn't spread) there is no reason to prohibit spreading of knodledge.
just think about what would have happened if important historic scientists
wouldn't have spread their knowledge! we rather would be in the middle ages
than we are now. just think about it.
but I understand and respect your concern to not distribute your copyrighted
material anyways, allthough it's kind of human right to get knowledge, at
least in my GNUed eyes. but anyways, unfortunately I've got to do what you
like - so if you want to prohibit the spreading of knowledge, I've got to
support you in your, in my eyes, totaly false way, if I like it or don't.

we're talking about subdomains, right?
it's created through an wildcard A entry:
*.sno.at. 119995 IN A 212.17.83.233
there is no way to prohibit that.

yes, there's no argument against it. you've got the copyright on your
firmware.
but please consider, is it really right to prohibit spreading of knowledge
(manuals, bulletins)?
please really consider it and consider to support the community with your
service bulletins, service manuals etc.. if I buy a handset it's my right to
get as much knowledge about it as possible. it's my natural right to get to
know how to open it, where which part is located etc...
and you shall give the technical advanced customer these rights!

affirmative.

nokia.sno.at is a subdomain created by a wildcard A entry, so as mentioned,
you can't prohibit that!

affirmative.

are you serious?
please check out www.google.com and find out relevant keywords yourself.
so, by best will, I can't tell you any persons/companies involved. that's
simply your task :þ
to resume my point:
I respect your concern anyways and I will remove the copyrighted material from
my site in advance of the 31.12., but please just think about what I've said
about knowledge. it would be much better if you'd consider to make service
manuals and bulletins public! and if you don't, as you see with my example,
the knowledge will spread anyways. it's in your choice.
