3210 slowing

my 3210 (5.01)is very slow

the clock is late .....

hardware problem

the time crystal on the 3210 has a habit of buggering up with them being old

either install new crystal or just buy nu fone

how do you change the crystal?
Mine is doing the same, beeps are elongated, doesn't like writing long messages (not at my speed anyway =) )
And it doesn't keep the time. only recieves/sends messages reliably when it's on charge...

Guys,the solution of your problem is simple:resolder CCONT(eventually change CCONT,but is not necessary)very good,I've got a lot of 3210's with this problem and I resolve them all like this!

Does anyone have a labled circuit layout of the 3210, marking where I need to solder...

Is simple.Remove metallic back of your phone,u most see SIM contacts,a lot of capacitors and in right up side of pcb u will see a BGA "named" NMP70393,is the bigger BGA on this side of pcb,this is CCONT,resolder him!!!
