hey Ive had a mad-crazy idea, since some people in this forum are good at manipulating flashes, then why cant we make a flash for say a 3310 or 3315 which can unlock another nokia phone? cant be that hard, using MBus just like rolis. we could just include the basics like, unlock, view lock status, FAID update, reset security code etc.
this comes due to the fact that I HATE clips, and my laptop (even though its small) is too big to lug around everywhere, also the phone has the necessary hardware to communicate via MBus built in. you can actually connect two nokias together via a direct mbus link for the transfer of user data. so all we'd need is a 3310 head on one end of the cable and what ever you want on the other, you'd only need three basic ones 33xx-82xx-51/61xx.
if we get real clever we could implement DCT4 unlock too, allthough the algos could be too big so I'm thinking 3310/15 in a 3330 so that we have from 0x300000 to 0x400000 to play with, or whatever space is not used by eeprom.
is this possible? I think it would be a great feature to have.
