Hi peeps
Ok i got hold of a Nokia 3330 but it was locked for only use on orange so i desided that i wanted to unlock it... Now i have done unlocking before on my 3310 so thought i was ok to do it i have both sorts of cable the mbus and the flasher cables...
Anyways to cut along story short i could not find a full flash for the 3330 v4.50 and desided to downgrade to v4.16 or v4.30 well after alot of searching i found a full v4.16 flash file and so carried on to flash the phone only i forgot to make a backup flash of the phone and although it says it has flashed with the v4.16 the phone will now now switch on?? i fear i've balls it right up...
Please advice me on what if anything i should do

Many thanks

HI Jase!!

Did you check which PPM package u had on ur phone with 4.50. Let me know. You can download full flashes from http://brad.satelit.cz/

1). Always make Backup of EEPROM area ONLY before you Upgrade/Downgrade phone. If you r new to this then you should make full backup.

2). Use B-phreaks Logger 1.7 from http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/ to check the MCU & PPM version of any phone you want to upgrade before you flash them.

Well. i think your phone was not flashed properly. Go to brad site and download version 4.50....and I think Orange uses PPM O.....try that...and ur phone should be ON like before (HOPEFULLY). It will locked on Orange again i think. If you get that far.....let me know...and we go to next step of unlocking it correctly.

I hope this helps.
Take Care
