8310 without sound

After I charged my phone the other night my 8310 went wierd. There are no tones such as ringtone, message tone, keypad tone etc etc. But the power on tone is still clear and when I recieve a call I can still hear the person. Also the vibration has gone, except when I play a game (eg. snake, when i run into myself and die it vibrates). Would anyone know what is causing this problem? I am guessing that having the phones software updated could fix this problem but as I live in South Australia there are hardly no places here that can update DCT-4 software.

try to upgrade the sw of the phone to a higher ver. this will fix the problem and that d only way to restore back the ringing tone n vibra
