this new version has support for the 8310... so in other words we can flash 8310's now right without needing a box / dongle etc... correct me if I'm wrong

I was just wondering what differences there are in the flashing method of dct4's comapared to dct3's.... same thing power off fone connect cable.... hit flash an press power button for ignition.... what id like to kno is as on the dct3 handsets we calculate FAID after flashing and also have to reset the SP locks... do u have to reset the SP locks on DCT4's [ or are the SP locks contained in eeprom?] aswell and calculate FAID [ if so how?]

what is the source of yoru info??

4.78 b5 is not even the latets one. b6 is. and b6 cant flash the dct4... where did you find out otherwsie?

there is no faid calculation on dct4 btw..

Hi all,

8310 is in the list of compatable handsets in b5 but it is omitted from the list in b6 so I think you can assume that it doesn't work in b5.

hmmm i was wondering the same thing due to the software versions of b5 and b6... for some reason schawntz has put 4.78 b5 on his site as "NEW" when he previosly had 4.87 b6

isnt there also some bogus 5.xx version out that cant do even half of the 4.xx versions?

rolis must have added it for a reason, any one got a full flash of a dct4 fone?

Rollis b5 and b6 does *not* support 8310. If you try to flash one it will say "phone not supported"
