OK, i live in the UK, and to get a new T-Mobile chip for my fone (t68i) is only like 8 quid or so,

but to get it unlocked, will be like £15

So, how my fone is locked, just wondering if it is locked to a certain chip itself, or is it a "network"?

will it work buying a new chip, or will i have to get it unlocked?

yea, sim card :D (sorry, mixed it up).

ne 1 no of a free way to do it tho (:hate parting wiv money :()

: Oh also, no 1 use "the link" < Total rip off's (they want £24.99 for a T-Mobile sim (No credit on it), when the "RRP" is only £14.99 (Theives huh :@)

I'd get it unlocked mate, cos T-Mobile is a load of rubbish, and you'd end up paying more in calls with them.

It all depends on how much you are gonna use it and contacting who.
Most my contacts are on O2 or Orange, so it helps to get them usually. Plus the fact that I send about 1000 SMS's per month it helps to have a few Genie/O2 SIM's.
