can someone help this newbie?

PLEASE?

when i run phoenix and have my phone connected i get prommer NOT alive.

i would appreciate any help, facts, or info on how to flash my 8310 to the latest software.
if it's any help, i'm using phoenix, flash cable, and latest mcu and ppm's downloaded. also using windows me.

I had this problem before and changing my centronics cable then updating my fps8 worked
