a 3410 has just randomly come up with this meesage, the screen flashed black before hand and then displayed the message.

does anybody have any idea what caused this and maybe any possible soloutions to it.

Hi Icarus_Omega,

I read somewhere that you can get this message when no simcard or an invalid simcard are inserted.

If the phone is new either return it for replacement or take it to a Nokia service centre for repair. (Otherwise>>)

It could be software but I think its more a hardware problem, try checking PCB connections, clean them with isopropyl alcohol on a cotton wool bud & check everything is free from moisture .
