well let me put this simply - if I had the password to the zip and rar files, I wouldn't have uploaded them - I would have uploaded the hex......so I don't have the password.....thats why I have asked if someone has a fast pc!!! if we all start at different points we can crack these passwords together......so lets work as team people.

here's a password cracker if you don't already have one. /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Unzip it into a folder, put dejanpic.zip in that folder and run the following command

FZC -mb -nzdejanpic.zip -l0 -caA -p%:10

change the % to a number between one and 10. It will split the job into 10 parts. we can all work on it together.

I'll start with 1.

Post a message with the number you're going to choose so we don't double up

One more thing.

To pause it, press "esc". to resume you must change the "-mb" command to "-mr". eg:

FZC -mr -nzdejanpic.zip -l0 -caA -p%:10

Good luck! /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

However I wonder if for something that important someone would choose only a password with chars and no spaces, numbers and punctuation. Shouldn't we try the whole shebang?

well...that's true...
@outcore: where did you get the files from? maybe we can find any clue for the password...

sorry for late response, been workin. got the files from gsmcity forum (my humble home) this place more like a flat that I go to at the weekends but still my 2nd home.....anyway, goto www.gsmcity.de. (http://www.gsmcity.de.) choose forum, scroll down to flasher and open topic HI BIG PROJECT FOR EXTRACT......but the files originated from xak's website - xak.ipc.ru though there are no direct links to it.

don't forget to post the password when/if you crack it (read the gsmcity topic, the geeza who started the topic f**ked everyone off when he thought he got the hex, turns out he was wrong and now noone will help him)

rgds and best of luck to all

Hi,
can anyone have a password-cracker for .rar file???
Because with this I can start a know-plaintex attack with "dejan box.gif".

Thank You

You can't decrypt rar.2 files with the "know plaintext" method. /n/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Oh, I made a mistake with the resume command above. /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

It should be:

" FZC -mr "

You don't need to repeat the rest of the line. /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif Just make sure resume.fzc is in that directory. /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
