Imei Problem

Hi Guys.

I`v downloaded
DIRECT IMEI Changer by Vhs IDS

anyway its a new program kinda`f a Xmas present.

anyway it uses "GSM phone test program V1-WTDN RAM DOWNLOADER"

to download the RAM from the Cell phone (it took me about 40 mins to do so ,... is it ok? or it should be short?) and it has
lots of *.AXF all the files range about 120KB each is plus minus the same and thier names are PHONE_MODEL.AXF, you select
the file and the COM and start downloading
after that you exit and you open the program itself
the supsose to change you IMEI.
the progrram says that when you exit the TEST program
the phone is still in test mode.

Anyway i did it and at 35% the IMEI program wrote me
the there was an ERROR
and this are the options : Cable not connect OR Phone not in TEST mode OR Phone not supported.
anway the 1st and 3rd option are OK i`v chacked and
tried 10 times! (10 x 40 mins!!!!)
anyway .. i dunno what to do

cuz i wrote a specific IMEI but now mu phone has
this IMEI :44796789400044\9
and i know this is the Factory Default IMEI.

The phone WORKS for me in my network...
but still i want to retrive my Original IMEI.. it a Legit one!
please please help me, im desperate cuz now i dont
have insurance for the phone...
how do i repair the phone?

just know i have the Samsung SGH-N600
and i used the original DATA cable (the one i used for SIM UNLOCK and RINGTONE upload.)

Been trying to find a prog to repair my IMEI 4 agers.Since updating my firmware to T108+ for a T100 the IMEI was set to default but this prog DIRECT IMEI Changer by Vhs IDS worked a treat 4 me my IMEI is back :)

Well to those of you that has the N600
you know that connecting the cable to the phone
has 2 ways..

1) turning on the phone and connecting (the LED stays On all the time)

2) Connecting while phone is on...

Well i`v managed to use the TEST program of the program
i talked about in the post above... i simply used it
when the phone was of...

but then when trying to use the IMEI program
i`v got into problam

cuz when the TEST program finish to download it shuts the phone
down and you cannot operate it unless you take the BATTERY
off.. so what to do..
i tried using the IMEI program right after that, iv tried after
turning it on.. in each case it didnt work...

please help me...

Which windows r u using?

Ok heres what i did to repair my T100 not got a N600 so maybe diff:-
Switch phone off, connect data to phone and Comm 1, Leave cover shut ...

1.Open prog (Test.exe)in W98 (dont use XP not many progs work with that)
2.Click download.
3.Click LINE SETTING
4.Baud Rate 115200, Data 8, Stop bits 1, Parity none, Com port 1, click OK.
5.Click Open Main File select correct AXF for phone in TEST directory click open.
6.Click start.
7.@ ok click EXIT (NO OTHER BUTTON)
8.Open IMEI.exe. select COM port ( what your phone is connected on)
9.Enter original IMEI code exclude the / (behind battery on main case)
10.Press change IMEI ( watch progress bar)
11.Exit prog disconnect cable
12.If screen blank (as mine did ) remove battery for 20 seconds relace and switch on phone
13. Type *#06# to check your IMEI

Like I said it worked for my T100 the way I have wrote it.

WEll

I`v tried it on WIN98 SE and it didnt work..

The problm for me is... when the TEST.EXE finishes downloading
the phone suts down.. altough it is shut down.. but
now it shuts completety you cant even turn it on
unless you remove the battery for 10 secsonds..

anyway... the LED that light and stay on allways when
you connect the cable when the phone is off shuts down as well.
and then when i turn out the Battery the phone gets out
of TEST mode and the IMEI.EXE cant work..

do you think it might be that my Service provider Locked the phone? i mean i have a flash thet the SP edited.. i live in israel
and they`v added a Hebrew menu...

so.. you thing it might be it?

Try another firmware then try repair imei

i tried all ur methods but none of them work, after downloading the ram from the test.exe file i open the imei.exe file and enter the 15 digits, change imei, the progress bar goes up2 35% den it ses wrong phone model, phone not in test mode, or phoine disonected, den if i press change imei again it goes to 1005 but no joy in changing the imei..... any ideas?

hi darren you said the emie software worked with your phone ,witch phone option did you use as it does not mention t100 ,ive the same problem test ok then emie prog starts up to 35% then an error any ideas????

Use T100.axf file should be in test folder

Thanks darren you instructions work a treat I used Windows 2000 with no problems.

You will know if the download is working correctly because it will take 30 seconds to complete. If it is taking ages you probably have the wrong com port settings

the problem u posted that it took 40 minutes 2 download test is because u have left the phone on while dowloading...it must b off...and it will only take 1 minute approx....

i have a box which changes imei. Icould simply put the original imie back in.

True does work with XP but i like to use 98 as it as less process workin in background plus my laptop wont take XP :D

can u use standard data cable which comes with the phone to change IMEI on a samsung t100???

that program is bullshit, i tried it on sevral machines and dnt wrk.........

buy the samsung clip does the imei on the phones aswell unlock all the n series on aswell....

i do offer a imei changing service, but i dnt chagne the imei ;) ill swap the board over...

to change the N600 IMEI using the program "DIRECT IMEI Changer by Vhs IDS" u have just to select N620.axf instead of N600 when u download the RAM:D, thats all!!!!

Hi there,

Yes original cables will work 100% with the imei software.

Speed depends on computer.

For me it took less than 5mins for T100

this software does work you have to swich the phone off first then load test file. you can use original lead supplied with the t100 with this software

Ive got the same problem. It takes about 40 mins to download with test file and then only loads to 35% when trying to change the imei with error message. Followed darrens instructions to the letter. Anyone got any ideas to what I'm doing wrong

swich the phone off before you load the test file if you do it properley it will load in about 40 seconds not miniutes.

Hi dude1. I got it to work just once. The phone was switched off all the times I tried but I think its either the cable or ive got a conflict with the com port could you tell me what OS ure usin and whether its got updates. reply to [email protected] PS thats why u got a lot of people that say its not workin. i tried the program (Test.exe and Imei.exe) on my home pc
(win xp pro) and got a system error msg.
Anyways i then tried it on a 2nd pc on win 98se ...after installing a few missing .ocx files both the test.exe and imei.exe opened up ...using the lead that comes with the fone (fone turned off)
i opened the test.exe selected correct come port etc and T100.axf and clicked start ..30secs and it was done ...clicked Ok and Exit ...and opened the imei.exe ...entered the desired imei (15digits) and clicked write imei ...nothing happened .tried over and over :( ....anyone help me out here ?
