3310 Animated Screen Saver

ANyone knows how to animate screen savers in 3310 and 3315?

It's impossible to have an animated screensaver on 3310 as a screensaver, but it's not impossible to have an animated screensaver as a startup logo!

Then we have it all clear :D

If the startuo and menu logo is animated, i think its NOT impossible to have animated Screen Saver. Someone needs to crack this!

where i can download it?

Have in mind that the nokia logo manager v1,9 have the feature to make an animation but you can only upload it as message picture or screen saver (only 3330 support) and not as animated startup logo.

so u can't make animating screen saver (not possible)

but u can edit a flash file and create a new animating startup logo! u need for these softwares

-PPMEdit_1.0a - flash editing
-Hex Workshop - modify texts
-NFREE - calculate faid (in the flash file)
-PPMManager - update all ppm crc-s
finally flash your phone

sorry, no can do... 3310s only have 2MB memories.
3330s have 4MB thus they can have animated menu, startup, AND screensavers.

100% 3310->3410

I explained before ( read old posts ) and here we go again...

It is possible to upgrade 3310 and 3330 to 3410.

U need new board revision with extra key contacts, new display and flash and ram chip.

Change all of these, put 3410 mcu, ppm, eep and pmm, recalculate checksums and enjoy...

Here is description of ram and flash:

3310 - 2 Mb flash , 1Mbit ram
3310 - 4Mb flash , 2Mbit ram
3410 - 4Mb flash , 4Mbit ram

If You upgrading 3330 then only display and ram have to be changed !
If You have old board revision it could happened that board have 2 adress lines from mcu to ram and flash less. You can add them with thin insulated wire !!!

All above is tested and 100 % working, done at least five times !

I can't find PPMedit and the PPM manage does not support

Actually, THERE IS SUCH A CUSTOMIZED FLASH FILE FOR NHM 5. (3310 VER 557) W/ animated startup (Handshake- the same startup for 5510) get hold of this file plus virgin eeprom for 3315, and you've got yourself what your looking for!

what if you made say a 6 frame anamated screen saver and deleted 6 picture messages would it be possible to use the 6 free spaces for 1 6 frame anamation?
