winmodo don't work ("Changing protocol..." and nothing else)

You did that cable by yourself ? did you remember to connect pin 1 with 5. Try ghost unlocker (it flashes the phone first to downgrade software) but winmodo should work properly ?
(or maybe you destroyed it with wrong unlocker - if so you won't repair it...)
