8850 power up problem

Hi,

I got a 8850 that doesn't power up unless i connect it in to the charger. Normally if i press the power switch it won't power up.
i have to connect the charger and press the button. Phone works fine after power on.

Any one know the method to solve this problem?

One phone guy told me it's because of faulty CHARGER CAPACITOR. if that the problem then where is it located at?

Please HELP me.
