apparently u did not, i think nowhere in the instructions it says to press backup, I never did, I go into download, sevice, e2p clone, go to file, select database file mh1171, select e2p select 190 or 191 unlock file and press restore not backup. and make sure when going in test mode the program says u r in testmode and make sure that when running testmode program dm tools is not open yet, if it does not go in test mode u might have reversed tx with rx at your cable. I did a view t19x with that and never had problems but killed one with other method (kima77) and lets post public so others can benefit too. And I believe it is important to make sure your cell has not been tampered with before.

I`ve followed all steps you said to unlock T191 GSM 1900 but it doesn`t work. i have now two T 191 in my hands (one locked and one unlocked) S:9.83 .
I ve put it on test mode, ,and run Dm tool 3.12.6(MC), on the service menu I ve set database file to MH1171 and then I ve select backup option ( ¿ this option allow me make an eeprom backup file??? ) . Then the program give me an error "can t read NRAM_ACER_NETWORK_LOCK e2p objet errno(10002)
What is bad??? Can u help me????
