Nokdoc,

what i mean on the other thread is how do we call the topscore animation using a menu or submenu by calling its function I.D. like the simclock 0x0B64 so we can edit the topscore's bitmap and call it so we have our new slideshow, get the idea. i just wonder if it can be called or not using the menu's function I.D. or something else.

[the only dreamthing i want this forum to have is]

changing or transfering games to or from phone 2 phone
do u think its a nightmare?

You mean like a "animation menu"?

That would be cool. Make a menu with submenus like Startup anim, Topscore anim etc. When entering the menus, the animation is displayed.


That sounds very possible.... :)

if we can call the topscore animation thru menu by function I.D. 5E0. We could have atlest 4 new slideshow.

I guess all it would take was for somebody to sit down and poke arround with winarm for a while. I was planning on doing it myself, but it's been so many years since I've done any assembler, that I would have to sit down and reteach myself, and I don't really have the time right now :/

imho its not callable via function-ids of the menu since it
is called through some ARM code directly...
not via the messaging commands...

but you can edit the slideshow generated with g3n0lite with ease..
you can scroll in, "blink in" etc but now yet just display
a graphic ;( odd thing i forgot the easiest things...

its like transferring the flashing routines of the compiled EXE of rolis flasher...
so its not possible unless we have sources + compiler from nokia

i found some new cool things i want to include in g3n0lite v2.0

and these things take time...
but i cansay that v2.0 is really woth using it ;))

i really cant say how long this takes ;(

DCT3 is vanishing why in the hell G3gg0 would make it for sale.
i hope nokia would release a fully customizable fone were anything you want from changing icons etc. would be possible in that way we wont reverse engineer them as is it they want.

i'm definitely sure that they will never make such a phone, although they can, 'cause then they won't be able to create any more phones; that would be the ultimate phone.

you're a genius and i'm sure you'll find another way.
maybe DCT3 will vanish but you're not for in our memory one day a guy offer and give his work for free.
and by the time you wanted money you'll realize that your not thirsty coz you've got all you need, a family and friends from nokiafree.
