Hmm. I think I've seen these files before on another forum. They are definitely belonging to the net monitor, copied from drive Z: from a 3650 as far as I know.
If you copy them to C:\apps, the program icon appears in your menu, but the app cannot be started.

Up to this point, no-one out there has been able to get netmonitor (Field test) working on a 7650. The files that it installs have been copied from 2 phones that had it on, but no-one has been able to get them hacked to work on c:
z: cannot be written to, it is a rom drive, and cannot be written to. Also there is a possibility that this app locks itself to the imei of the phone it is installed on.
serious reverse engineering is required on this, and no-one who really knows what they are doing has been willing to work on it. PPl are unsure at this stage if Ft really is run from z:..because that would require Nokia to flash it on..then do a fw upgrade, then flash it off again? More likely it must just be a .sis file that is uninstalled, which would have to make it run from c:?
The ppl that I know who are working on it have come to a standstill..no new progress without some new info on it becomming available.
guys calm down......
i think maybe >>>nyo73 is right!!
the drive "Z" isnot a ROM but a FLASH RAM
the program can be write in drive Z in some special way
maybe FBUS or something......but not the "I.R." or "B.T." i thought
don't you guys remember that the FIRMWARE can be upgrade!!
so we can add. program in that "Z" too......
all we need to find is the WAY to copy the "NetMonitor"prog.
into the "Z" by some special way......
the way just like upgade firmware.......i thought!!
for you guys reference......
PS:the program "FTD" is a GOOD and BIG step to open "NetMonitor".....i thought!
good luck!!
