Pay monthly phone contracts

I currently have a Samsung T100 on a pay monthly contract with orange and my phone has now been restricted to incoming calls only. Are orange likely to totally bar me from using my phone or am I able put a pay and go sim in and go on a different network. the phone has been unlocked. Will I need to change the imei number?

Depends mate--if u owe them money yes they will bar the phone and pass its details to the other networks,

so even though its unlocked you WILL have to change the IMEI number to use the phone again, after that it will work on ALL networks
