View Full Version : NFader v1.1 (SW for adding fading LEDs)

Al
13-01-2003, 12:44 AM
NFader v1.2

supported models: ALL DCT3 GSM (as I think :)) except 3210, 7110 (but I'm working on it)
Almost fully automatic (except CheckSum, I do it later :))

Now keypad don't blocks while fading (tested only with 3310, on other models may not work)

If SW displays 'Subroutine not found!' or 'Unsupported fade code type!' this phone model can't have fading leds ( at this time )

Sorry, NFader v1.1 has bug that causes in bad update for models with fade code type other than 0, 3. I'm very sorry.

So new release NFader v1.2
please forgive me :)

You can TRY this SW with ANY phone, just play with Fade code type value (0 - 3) in 'data.nf2', maybe it works :)
But if it displays 'Subroutine not found!' this phone model can't have fading leds ( at this time :))

@slikmik & westy
sorry, no sources

Hello to Al and all the members of NOKIAFREE. The tool is great and it works on 3410 v4.09
without affecting the rythmic backlights when receiving a call...However a little bug occurs when playing Munkiki. When our friend completes a level the lights are flashing, but due to the fade effect patch there is a little delay... Thats all just for info..
@Al keep up the great work!!

Sorry, NFader v1.1 has bug that causes in bad update for models with fade code type other than 0 or 3. I'm very sorry.

So new release NFader v1.2, must work on all GSM models and SW versions except 3210 & 7110 (I'm working on it), but you may try it on others :)

tested it on a 3330 v4.50 fade in & out time to 3
i goto menu..let the light go out, then I press the down button.
the next menu item appears after the lights going on completely.

Well, still using the fader though:):)

Well wOrf, that's correct... But with my 3310 that also happens. If you have an original flash happens the same thing. Pressing down button, the next menu only appear when the lights are on. But in that case they go on very fast.

To see if the "don't block keypad" function works, just do this: Make a call to you 3330 and press cancel or answer when the phone is fading (out or in). If the call is cancelled or answered it's working. Just test again the old Nfader version and you'll see that doing this test the call only can be cancelled or answered when the lights are completely off or on.

@Swiftie
no need this file ('data.nf2') anymore :)

@w0rf & bgcngm
If you don't want wait when leds fade in, just press any key on keypad while leds fading in :). And if you want 'quick answer', just don't use fade in :)

@Indicdican
I'm almost near to solve this :)

there is no need to implement such function. there are already some progz for crc check: g3n0lite, ChkFixer by Joox(which i prefer) and some other i can't remember. anyway, Al, do whatever you want; we're just telling our opinions. And keep up the GOOOOD work!
