BLUEtooth dongle...

Hi all,
I have the trust bt110 usb BLUEtooth dongle, everythig goes well from the pc to n7650 all is ok, data suite also, but when I try to send some files from the n7650 to the pc an error occurred.
any suggestions?

Do you use the Widcomm software version 1.2.2.15 or higher? Then this problem can easily be solved!
Start regedit. Go to the Key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Widcomm\BTConfig\Services\0004
Here you'll find a DWORD entry named "AcceptOther". Set its Value from 0x00000000 to 0x00000001. Now you should be able to send any type of file to your PC.
If your Widcomm software version is lower than 1.2.2.15, download it from MSI (http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/driver/dvr/spt_dvr_list.php?part=5) for example. This software will also work with your Bluetooth dongle.

I forgot to say, this should work with all Bluetooth dongles that use the Widcomm software!

I have the same problem as above.
I tried the regedit thing and still I get the problem.

Can't make an connection. Maximum bluetooth connection reached.....

I also get this message sometimes on my phone. Switching bluetooth off and then on again seems to help. After that I can connect to my PC without problems.

LOL surely you guys can see what it is, the 7650 can only host 1 connection max, bi directional depending on the host of the connection, its like a pc can only connect to the internet using the same modem once, cannot have 2 simultanious connection going at once its not possible, depending on whuich device initiated the connection that device has send and receive functions (only pics bar file sending if the pc initiated the connection), if the 7650 initiated the conenction then it can send all files but is unable to recieve until the current connection is finished because the 7650 has not got a browser to browse the computer for files to d/l.

are you sure about what you say?so how can transfer files from 7650 to my pc?

if its a picture then use image tranfer in pcsuite if its a file, disconnect any connection u have from phone to pc and send the file using any 7650 file manager (e.g. efilemanger, siliq, handy file.) some files on the 7650 cannot be transfered as they are protected, to get these files off all you do is backup your phone using pcsuite and just search through the directory u backed upto for the file you wanted.

I have the Billionton bluetooth adapter 2!
it is verry unstabil 2 log on with, so i had some problems with it my self.
1. U need 2 do is install the CD that follows the Bluetooth adapter, (Be sure 2 NOT have the adapter in the USB port before the install is finished).
2. plug in the USB adapter and install the drivers (lokated on the CD).
3. install Pc Suite 1.2.2.15 .
4. dobbelclick on the bluetooth icon in the bottom-left, and go 2 "entire bluetooth naightberhood". make it surch for youre phone.
5. if it finds it you can dobblel click on the Mrouter icon and try anyone of the ports (USB Ports)
And it will logg on!!

It worked 4 me!!

Let me know if it is something! ;)

Ps: to send something from youre 7650 2 youre PC reed wath Tiger42 ses on the top of this thread.
