Actually, I never do this thing, but please backup full your phone before...
Read your phone full, save it like : full_8210.fls, open it by NFree 1.2, Change the imei and re check all, save it again like: imei_8210.fls and flash it again to your phone. If it's OK all, god bless you, but if not, restore your full backup. Maybe it's need a calc FAID too...

changing the IMEI is easy - but you still end up with a broken phone. The IMEI is stored in the EEPROM area twice, once as plaintext and the other XOR'ed with 65 (chk-IMEI). You can change the IMEI (have to change both, XORing the chk-IMEI with 65) but the phone will require IMEI programming data, meaning your phone will probably CS or not log to network - logs will not fix this. I think if the new IMEI has the same chk digit (15th digit in IMEI calculated with LUHN Checksum), changing it will require no programming data and no logs but don't take my word for granted, backup first and try it.

if it has the same 15th digit then you dont gwt contact service. but the phone will not log 2 any network either. you need to calculate the cobba id. no body has solution to this yet, it can only be done by tdf4 box at the moment.
any1 need further assistance then email me or add me on msn:
