why wouldn't it be possible, you can delete some space in the flash. If you take a look at the 8310... they can save sms on the phone, and phone numbers... so why couldn't it be possible?

8310 can hold more messages due to the fact that it has a bigger memory chip like the 6210 etc
deletin stuff from the flash wont succeed in what ur hopin to achieve!!
if u buy a wafer card and then clone the sim card onto the wafer card then u will be able to hold more messages on the sim, look in the sim cloning section
hope that helps
well, space isn't the only issue, and you propably can make some free.
but its the software, that will need a heavy modifications/addons :p so that it saves in the flash/eeprom memory (well..hmm, propably flash shouldn't be used for that kind of things anyway)
a mod u will propably never see
Hi guys! I just had a tot here. I use hex to view my 8250v6.00 K flash file and I found out that there are free space from offset 001B8920 to 001CFFE0. Since a message can hold 160 character, the free space can actually hold up to 599 messages. I go through the tutorial of how to add startup tone long ago that the startup tone actually paste into a free space and direct to the address. Now, with Eleoson security code patcher, I believe its the same things. From message menu and direct to security menu and redirect back again. Since you guys can create your own menu using Genolite, so why can't try creating a menu and save the message into the flash free space? This is just a tot of mine, I dunoo how far I m right or just being stupid and naive. Just wondering. Thanks!

is there a way to increase the number of messages that is supported in ur phone. 33xx only supports up to 45 msg even if u have a high memory sim. is there a way to fully utilize the 65 message capacity of the sim?
thanx,
Matrix

if your a globe subscriber, go to globe services menu -usually the last menu then go to messages+ then chose move then chose which message from your inbox you like to move to messages+. when you restart your phone, the message you chose in your inbox will be erased and a copy will be placed in the messages+ of the globe services menu.
35 messages in the messages+
30 messages in your inbox/outbox
a total of 65 messages!
same thing for smart subscribers, go to smart menu.

on run-time, only the EEPROM address is writeable on ur cellphone..
MCU-PPM are not writeable...for your infor: your settings(network logo, selected ringtone, other settings) are saved on EEPROM....
maybe our guru here can create an add-on to be able to access the EEPROM and save messages on it....well let's hope for it....
