Can Anyone here post a brief note about making partial flashes and what i need to make them??? I have been looking for good american partials for about a week and cannot locate any for the 51xx/61xx models.
I have access to 1000's of cellular phones to make the partials from.
I also have alot of american software to trade.
I would be willing to trade or puchase them.

Partial flashes for unlocking only needed on phones pre January 20000 earlier phones can be unlocked with Nokia tool and Mbus data lead on com port.
The 6110 versions all can be unlocked with the above method as can the 5110 phones pre v 4.59.
Please read information at the two links given below and any other information from this site about flashing before you attempt to write to any phones.
Flash in hast and repent in leisure.
I have included a list of adresses so you can make full backups of your phones.

Thanks for the info! where would i go to learn how to "make" partials? for example
I have a nokia 5190 VER 6.11 that is unlocked and i want to make a partial from it so i can unlock others.
I have tried a few partials on the web for this version but none of them work!
Thanks in advance!

As the 5110 and 5130 part flash is from 250000 to 260000, Try reading this part of the flash from a locked phone and an unlocked phone and comparing the two to see if they differ.
If they are the same try comparing flash from 260000 to 270000.
You can only try ? /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
Perhaps someone has encountered this problem and can coment.
Good Luck

So if i am understanding correctly... all i need to do is read the specific range from an unlocked phone and then load that into a locked phone and this should work?
if this is true i am doing it correctly and i just dont have the corrrect range...Weird! because i have tried a VERY broad range of the flash. anyone?????? any ideas?
If someone can shed some light i would be more than happy to post the files if i can get them to work!
