i have a 8210 and would like to know what cpu it has..

how can i find out without using a data cable?
is it possible to do it with infra-red? I just want to know what rom, not flash it or anything..
or perhaps if i open up the phone.. are there any components which will say?

Hi...

U have to use a data cable to see ROM5 or 6 but someone told me that we could see at IC (I don't know its number) or IMEI number (if it start 350....., it's possible to ROM6 but it's not comfirmed).

if your phone never been upgrade,
than press *#0000# and see your software version.
if it is below v5.26 it mostly is rom5. if above v5.27 it propery is rom6.

if the cpu is v16, then it is rom6 otherwise rom5..

eventhough it has beem upgraded rom5 is rom5 and rom6 is rom6 and rom 5 cannot be rom6 presuming the hardware has not been touch.
