3330 to 3350 Help?

Hi!
This is my first post in this forum. Firstly I think that this is a great forum especially for a newbie like me :) .
Now coming to the question that I had. I wanted to know how do you exactly go about upgrading the 3330 to 3350 and would my 3330 be eligible for the upgrade and if no what it is the minimum requirements for this upgrade.

My 3330 Specs :
SW Ver : 3.50
HW Ver : 0807

I have an MBUS Cable with me. Also please can u'll tell which sw/hw would be required to do this job :) . Thanks a lot and looking forward to contribute to this forum later !!

Hi mate and welcome...

First of all you have to purchase a DCT-3 flasher cable with which you can upgrade or modify your phone. This cable plugs in the parallel (printer) port of your PC. Then you have to download a DCT-3 flashing program such as KNOK or Rolis flasher 4.77 or 4.78. You can find these proggys Here (http://www.thony.xtr.at/dd69/)
Then you have to download a full flash (MCU+PPM) of 3350 from Here (http://brad.gsmunlock.sk/index.php) or Here (http://www.thony.xtr.at/dd69/) Bear in mind that in order to convert a 3330 into a 3350 you must change the LCD display and the keypad with the ones that 3410 has.
Having downloaded all the above start Rolis and chose your mobile type (3330 NHM-9) and then press the "read default flash size" in order to make a full backup of your phone just in case something goes wrong... :) When the proccess ends you will be prompted to save your file. Just save it anywhere in your disk and name it 3330bak.fls or anything similar just to remember that it is the backupo of your phone.Then you have to open the phones faceplate and replace the LCD display and the keypad. To do this job you have to use a torque.OK if you have followed all the above steps you are ready to flash your phone.
Open the flasher again, choose 3350 (NHM-9) from the dropdown menu and click "write binary buffer to flash" Load the full flash of 3350 you downloaded and then click OK. Now press the on/off button of the phone once and wait.... Rolis is flashing your 3330 with a 3350 flash. When the procedure is over unplug the flasher cable and plug the MBUS cable you already have. Then open rolis tools 1.8 (find it also in the adresses mentioned above) and switch on your phone. Click "update faid" then "SP unlock" and at the end pres the "SFR" button Reset your phone and you have a 3350...
