6210 help needed

Right here goes:

I have a 6210 v5.27. I want to unlock it, I've read all the docs and it seems fairly straight forward. What I can't find are the right flash loaders for my software. The backups I make are full of FF 00 which surely can't be right. A very helpful site told me that this is caused by an incorrect flash loader, where can I find the right one? Do I need a separate flash loader for reading and writing?

PLEASE HELP ME!

the flash loaders need to be patched for succesfull reading and writting. If they are not patched then they will only write. yes, sometimes you will need different loaders to read and write (in my experience I have had to do this). try and use the loader attatched and see if that helps (remember to rename it!).

patched mate. but remember to backup the correct area first to save hastle.

I've just tried to backup my phone from 002000... to 006000... but the flash.out still contains 00 FF all the way through what am i doing wrong?

just try and backup a small area, i.e. 0020000 to 0020100. try all of the loaders enclosed in the zip. it's possible that your phone will still flash with that loader, but it's better to be safe than sorry

Hi Andy!!!

How are you? Save urself the hassle and use Rolis 4.77. It is a windows based program and very good. It does all the loaders by itself automatically.

and you ONLY need to backup the EEPROM area between 05A0000 to 05FFFFF.

Saying that, you should check your PPM pack too before flashing. Use B-Phreaks Logger to give you this info.

Hi where can I find rolis? and will it definately give me a backup? does it still use the same partials as dejans flasher?

I tried backing up with all of the loaders you gave me and still just get FF 00.... what else can I try? my flash ID is 898896

try going to http://www.superunlockers.da.ru in the software section it has a list of other sites. by clicking the green arrows next to the other links it tells you which site has rolis etc. use this and see how you get on.
