Hi!

I killed my 6130 some 6 month ago. (not network anymore and reset after 30 secs or so).
Does a full-flash help? If so does anybody still have one?
It's SW 3.27 C (18-02-98).

Thx

HI

Do u know what was the latest version of 6130 before the they stopped making more

If you know let me know. I want to flash my 6130 to the newest version.

Your phone version is very old. I dont have it plus I dont know any sites with the 6130 full flashes. Maybe someone else can let us know. You need to flash your phone with the right version MCU and PPM package before u will get reception.

Otherwise you have to recalculate FAID.

Hmmm and if i can find out what i changed?
Would it be enough?
If not i update PPM and MCU to the "newest" version and have a new FAID calced. Makes more sense.

Ok. I'll let u know which version i know to be the last one in the 6130 if i can find. btw: If i find a 6130 with the same version. Can I just read it's MCU and PPM and flash into mine (without the EEPROM then of course, anyway it's not emulated).
Will it be enough to work again or is the FAID like a flag once set no way out except recalc it?

Hi Doc

Yes, if u flash it with ur old MCU and the CORRECT PPM version, it should work fine.

I have a 6130 too like I said before and I want to upgrade it to the latest version. Can you tell if you find the latest version.
