3310 resets

Hi Guys!

If a phone is flashed with a different language pack but with the same version it resets right?

Why is it that when i backed up a 3310 (20000-40000) use nfree1.2 to correct the mcu checksum and then save the file and use it to reflash the phone, the phone resets and network is not found.

Dont use nfree to correct checksums....
if u read backup before flashing and then put the backup back to phone you dont need to correct checksums.....
just flash the backup back to phone.....(if u have still the original one)
no need to do anything else........

About FAID calculation....
for this you need algo for calculate the FAID but its not free yet......
and some people are trying hard to find out the algo but it is very complicated.......

Hi Abe!

I used nfree to correct the checksum because it is on "contact service". What else
aside from nfree should i use to correct the chesksums.
