(maybe you know some of this but i just post it for who don't.)

advise:(so that u don't crash your phone ,ok)
first of all , set all the memory use to use the mmc, everything like creating a new c: for e: there should have the system and everything from sounds to messages to apps, mail, everthing. ok. all of them.This is very important for installing apps on the mmc. no phone memory used. okay!except for contacts

how to save image from different sources?
-if you look at the help application , there should be a save function with the rotate,zoom,fulscreen menu when you open an image anywhere. But the sad thing is that theres no save func. for MMS, save only appear if you go to objects and don't open the image , select the file name with the jpeg extension without thumbnail and the save will be there. Caution system error if the image have the same filename on the images.Infrared-i can't seem to find the save func. solution is use seleq find the file on mail on the mmc(the e: drive not c: if u set the memory to use the mmc) cut or copy paste on the images folder on mmc.Go to images then there shoul be your pic and update thumbnails.That the only solution that i can give.Bluetooth-never tried yet.

how to move images from folder to folder without using seleq:
-if you move an image there should be a choice phone memory/mmc. The move function don't open folders so use the scroll button to open folder and use move func to transfer image. got it.

Theres no cd from the box use the 7650 software.

now i know whats the cover that i got. its a lens protector for a small digital cam. They fooled me thats its for a 3650 but im very happy they did , because it fits.

follow buchikin advise not to put password on your mmc, just curious and tried it on my 128 mb mmc and system error occurs stupid of me for being want to try possibilities now got some problems on my mmc, now stuck with my 16 mb mmc. Hey buchikin how much did your 128mb mmc cost and where? coz i just stole my mmc from our digital cam.hehe need to buy again.

im also not an expert on 3650 so lets help each other out

where can i buy a bluetooth headset? i want it coz 3650 supports bluetooth audio profile.

read the help application coz there are many new things that u can find there.

- i bought my MMC card at theatre mall in greenhills. its a computer shop on the 2nd floor. sorry i forgot the name. i bought it for P4300. the brand is RiDATA. and dont worrry about setting passwords for this brand (it doesnt let u enter a password. in other words, no option :) )

- for bluetooth audio, i dont know, i havent seen one yet. if u do please let me know.

- congrats again. what engineering course did u take?

- ur right, in the help menu it says that when u press options, theres a save option but if u look at it, theres none.. shit...

- where did u buy the lens protector? virramall? shoppesville? theatre mall? where exactly? :D
have to get one because the pictures i take are blurry because of the plastic and i dont want to remove it until i get protection ("sama pakinggan" :D )

- about moving: i figured it out. when the option to cchoose between MMC and phone pops up, selecct and press the pad to selecct a subfolder. (MINUS 1 PROB! YESS!!!)

- not all of my apps work well in the MMC. ccome work in the phone but doesnt want to work in MMC. for example, chessgenius doesnt work in MMC but works in phone. IM Plus too. and also WirelessIRC. theres also some apps that are completely not compatible with 3650 (wether in MMC or phone) like Digia Image Spy. do u have these problems too?

ok, just browsing at my friends house, a little drunk though.

haven't tried a lot of apps lately, but as far as i understand the system, some apps will work only on phone memory because theres some file that it needs on the c: directory ,so you cant run it on e: but i think we can do some solution here but don't try it yet coz it might destroy our phone and i havent enjoy it yet. another apps that compatibility is an issue are those that changes something on the configuration of the phone like extended profiles! i don't know the other ver. but the latest has problems. But we shouldn't worry , i know after the 3650 is available all over the world the softwares should have upgraded ver. thats eliminate problems running on 3650. Another thing is if we want to avoid problems look if theres a 7650/3650 compatibility written on the software official site coz thats our safe bet that it won't hurt our phone until everybody have it and in that time we should have our 7650i.hehe, and if we stick with our 7650 ,i think we can't trade it with the 7650i anymore because no one will buy a 7650 on that time if theres a 7650i thats available. sorry , made a confusing sentence, a little groggy i guess.

breakdown:

don't use seleq restart function, theres some comments on code that will blinks and you cant off your phone, just remove battery.

you should darken the contrast of your display a little coz the default will tire your eye. Double vision effect.

ok , i try to find the brand of the lens cover so that you can buy it anywhere you want.

What is the color of your battery? is it black, just asking coz greenhills are full of bad people and my change anything that comes from our phone. Maybe mine is change or yours.

did you try to stream something on real one?

i still cant believe that theres a save function stated on help apps but seems hidden. Maybe we need to press a button? another interesting change from 7650 , if you take pictures it saves it automaticaly on the images, and theres no save func on the menu, just makes me think thats opening images from anywhere ,it saves it on tempory something errrrr what the heck im thinking, still groggy.hehe

anothet problem that i found is that we can't download n7650 games on globe wap page. it says only for 7650, not much too worry coz its very easy to transfer java files to another phone.

i also want to try mms by inserting the preloaded videoclip w/ sound on the 16mb mmc, just makes me wonder if it will receive by others.

video apps that have 100 kb limit is i think better compare to that doesn't limit you on size especially on 7650, its safer. The latter apps is for our 128mb mmc, no limits.hehe

our recorder is for 100kb only , what i mean is that if theres a new video apps that record limitless , thats for our phone and not on 7650 coz weve got 128mb , huhuhu , mine is back in 16 mb, gotta buy 128 , hehe.

so im right , if theres a change on configuration it should be on phone memory. but i'll always try it first on mmc, gotta save more internal memory.

not all apps are compatible in mmc but can be run on phone memory, but don't worry about that coz im starting to see some companies updating their softwares to support mmc. just an example: go to handago and look for apps e.g. sky raider. look at new updated ver. - now supports mmc.

bluetooth headset available at some retailer. go to nokia-asia site then go to 3650 accessories, you can see it there. another thing, browse your 3650 manual and you can see a stereo headset accessory, dont know if this will pump stereo sound on our phone, mp3go will be a blast, hehe

This the problem when the first batches of new model come into the market, many software and hardware bugs. Based from our experience with Nokia, it takes about a month or two before bugs can be fixed (i can speak of the hardware side). These problems were not captured during the development because of the small quantity being produced- and this is normal in the manufacturing industry. Process enhancements comes in during the early production stage. So I recommend the best time to buy a new model is on the 2nd or 3rd batch of releases... Anyway, buchikin, the best thing to do is to bring your phone to nokia or any authorized nokia service center. Pls do not experiment further with your phone it may create more problems.... Gud luck bro...

Got my 3650 last Saturday, used it extensively and found out that the camera "night setting" doesnt work. What I mean is that even if you set the camera to night mode, the image taken will still be dark, no difference on the image taken in standard mode although in the preview the imageis bright. :confused:

well i found a way to get my phone working again... so ill tell u guys how i did it in case it happens to you...
when i rerstarted my fon using seleq (or anyother program - i tried appman too), there were codes showing on my screen with an aqua background and it kept blinking (just like apple said). but when i took out the battery and inserted it again and turned the power on, it says "system error". but still loads. anyways, when i go to images, it displays "images: system error", i go to camera, "camera: system error", messages, "messages: system error"! (fucked up right?) basically everything has a system error! dont try *#7370# (the fucking code doesnt work and will only hang ur fon). now heres what you should do. backup ur phone on ur pc (it will still work) so u can restore ur contacts or any other files ull be needing (contacts is most impt or u cud also backup ur log). after that, install taskmanager in ur fon. register taskmanager by using a keygen (this is impt, it wont work w/o a kyegen) then format ur phone. after this, ur fon will work lilke brand new! (no more system error and shit!) then go to ur PC's folder where the backup files are and get everything u need (contacts.cdb etc.) and place them in another folder (make sure u remember their correct paths) after, backup ur fon once again, then copy all the files u need back to the backup folder and restore! thats it! now, u will notice that when u look at manager in ur phone, all apps are gone, but ccheck ur MMC and theyre still there (only log was erased) i dont know if this will work:

install all uncrackable programs u find (on MMC!), then format ur phone (log file goes away) and then u can use the apps forever! (since if im thinking right, the log files are what keeps the dates of the apps therefore giving it a time limit.)

again, I STAND CORRECTED for the log thingy, but for the formatting process, im sure of it! its how i fixed mine!

But thanks , for the new solution you've discovered.

If im not wrong , the restart function can be use if the seleq app is installed on phone memory. So basically , i think there is some files missing on the system folder on the mmc compare to the system files on the phone memory that some application uses for a certain functon. remember that the mmc starts empty and gradually building its own system folder. My point is that we need to copy some missing files on our phone memory to the mmc to a specific folder making it identical. I think the updated ver. of some applications that now supports the mmc like the sky raider is actually installing some files that the app needed on the mmc which i think is available only on the phone memory. This is just my theory. I'll try it soon.

Just asked you a question coz this morning , im trying to help a friend to trade her 7650 for a 3650. got a little chat with with the owner of an outlet and ask how many 3650 they've sold and how many return with problems. then they mention a buyer , sun 4-6 , w/ older women and got problem with memory card. Actually the problem is about the password like yours so i thought your the one that they've been talking about.

had the same problem when i installed wildskinz on my 7650.
all had system error eg. sytem error autolock, sytem error messaging, etc.
followed the procedure as above:uminstall wildskinz, backup and restore. no need for task manager and everything went back to normal.
to everyone, is it worth it to buy a 3650? kasi i just bought mine (7650) last week. ano to? had to trade my 7650 or wag na? help pls. and reason(s) why i should trade or not. if trading where in Greenhills and for how much. thanks in advance.

ur right, its silver, and i wanted blue! hehe! but i bought my fon for P8,000 (trade in, my 7650s worth was P17,000 and the 3650 was P25,000) but remember, i didnt buy it in shopesville, i bough tit in virramall.

well before i had the problem i already uninstalled the wildskinz.... (just follow my advise and do not install it...)

3650 is better because:
- more (and i mean M--O--R--E!!!) memory (provided u buy a big MMC! hehe)
- xpress covers
- UNIQUE!!!
and more!
im not telling u to give up ur newly bought fon sfont, these are just my opinions...

based on my experience between the two phones, 7650 for 5 months then 3650 for almost 2 weeks , i think 3650 is better. Comparing the two phones is very simple , it all comes to the memory. I got 128 mb MMC ( hey buchikin , i bought my new mmc at complink and it cost 4850 pesos also ridata brand ) and it can carry everything from mp3's , videos ( many of them from the net ) , pictures (we're talking thousands here ) , games especially from digital red (works perfectly on mmc ) , applications (although some don't work yet on mmc but they will be sooner in the updated ver. etc. The only downside is the new layout for the keypad but this is very easy to learn by using the angle division technique that i read from a review of the phone. Divide the circle in four parts and you can actually learn to type words without looking in days. Express cover is cool too. and almost evrything. another downside, much expensive than 7650! This is just based on my experience. It's your decision!

Buchikin , i plan to buy a MMC drive. Did you buy one? How much and where? I ask complink about it and they have no stock. I think you better buy one too if you don't have it yet coz transfering files will very easy and the speed is also better. And i think it's not expensive coz the memory stick drive just cost 1400 pesos.

Question - did you try to use our xhtml browser? It's working and you can browse html sites from the services. Use your # key to go to the adress bar and type a html site so that you don't have to make a bookmark. Im using the globe wap connection , the problem is after i browse a couple of pages my gprs services becomes unavailable and will just be back after about 5-10 minutes , i don't know why. also , the page will load the site background but the images can only be viewed on the view image menu. Another thing is to word wrap the txt so that you can read coz if you don't i assure you you can't read it. Can try it and tell me if it also cuts your gprs service for a while?

set everthing to use the mmc and not the phone memory. It's on the menu of all the different apps in your phone. For your problem , it's the setting for messages, change it to use the mmc so that everything you've downloaded that goes to inbox is save in the mmc. Better if you set all your apps to use the mmc not just the messages. read the upper post!

and how can I take the 100kb limit restriction off my video clips?

i just bought an MMC drive at festival for P1050. I advise u do d same. its faster to transfer files from the computer to ur phone, and much safer (avoids the risk of hanging when transferring large files). the brand i bought is MUSE. and with it, u cud also backup the contents of ur MMC so when it gets corrupt (hopefully not) u can restore all files u had. :)

i bought the cover at greenhills - shopsvilles. I asked them again about the cover but the problem is they don't have any coz that cover is not for 3650 but for a digital cam. I'll just post a pic of the cover here maybe on sunday when i got home. Then look for it na lang for yourself.

@manzur, u can change the settings of the messages to be stored to MMC. however i have not encountered problems about transferring big files because i use an MMC reader.

i did what you've done about the password thing for the MMC and lost all the files. at first i thought my mmc doesn't work anymore but then my friend had palm505 and reformatted my mmc :-)

I also tried formatting my MMC through my card reader and it did finished formatting unfortunately when i inserted back into the 3650 and try accessing to it it says MMC corrupted. So i formatted my MMC agian throught the phone's MMC format feature.............therefore i concluded that only the device that uses the MMC with the format feature can format the MMC, get what i mean??? because after formatting you will notice that it will create the same folders as in the phone memory.....i.e images,system.....and etc............bow

i wonder how will ur phone will look like with that lens cover??? how is it attached to the 3650?? there is no clip or dowel something that can hold on the lens preimeter............can anybody show us this 3650 with the lens cover??................tnx

Problems with size of files? Go to menu, messaging, options, settings, other, then change memory in use to mmc, and u can upload anything! i uploaded a song to try out mp3go, with irda.

yes.. well my camera is working fine its morning and afternoon but when night comes its very poor and so dark i dunno maybe its sensitive to dark places even if i shoot night tab is on :( :( :(

YOU CAN... copy it in FLIGHT MODE (use System Tools)...

you don't have to copy contacts.db...
use SMART VCARD app and all your contacts will be saved as .vcf (outlook address book format)... it's better, easier and safer.

vcard doesnt work for me :( i dont have the "standart fields" in my contact list... i renamed the details and even have more than 4 or 5 numbers for one contact... vcard doesn't seem to accemt that... any other ideas to backup my contacts?

btw: my integrated backup function doesn't work! it says that the programm is closed and "MMCApp USER 23" :confused: :confused:
